Crafting

I should own a part of Etsy.com. There are a LOT of things going on in my household, beware. Look where you step, dont take off your shoes, and if you sit, youre helping.
The wooden pups are actual replicas of our dogs. There is a woman that hand makes them designed after pics that you send her. Next up; replicas of me and Kerry. These will be the wedding cake toppers.

The teal envelopes below are the invitations that I am working on. These are the response cards. I just have to get my printer working again so I can finish these up. Lola is the skiier, I couldnt resist putting a few of those on. Those pictures are from one of the days I was baby sitting. Her and I went to Macyntire right in Manchester for a mini ski lesson. She did a great job and I think in Feb. an actual ski lesson will do her good!

I also make the boutonnierres with feathers to match the bird theme. They come in all three colors. The bowls you see there are the favors for people. All of my NH bridesmaids plus the mother of the groom have been involved in painting them and getting them ready to be fired. The Jewelry picture is from the MN bridesmaids, the maid of honor and the mother of the bride working hard and long to make beautiful bracelets and earrings for all of the girls. That same weekend in MN my mom was able to fit part of the muslin dress to me for my wedding dress that she is making. The birdcages are part of the centerpieces for the tables for the reception. You may wonder why I am giving up all these

details prior to the actual event -- there are so many surprises and so many things that are hand made that I dont really think I am giving anything away! The veil I just have to put together and the painting aka guest book will be something that people can sign above the leaves individually with a black sharpie so we can hang the painting on our wall to remember our wedding week. More to come, I am still working!!!

MN for a third time this Winter

Seattle was on the list of things to do this January to visit Candace and Mike but she actually ended up moving back to MN. Mikes time in Seattle is limited, so I changed my ticket and decided to head home again; this time to see my girl :) We were able to do some shopping for beads to complete the jewelry for all the bridesmaids and the mothers. There is a bead shop in Anoka that supplied the supplies and youtube supplied instructions. I think my mom, Allison, Krista and I did a spectacular job!! Candace and I were also able to visit Jake, Erin, Addison and Ryder - here are some pics of the very active teething 6 month old. This is our ring bearer

Allison and I were able to meet Krista, Jesse and some other friends out for the Packers game and had a great night hanging out. I went to Kristas after and played "Rap Hero" until pretty early in the am…I havent stayed up that late in awhile! The day before I left my sister mom and I made it to the fabric store to get more supplies for my wedding dress as well as some other things we are making for the wedding. Stay tuned, another blog post coming up with more details!
