Auntie Candace is in town to "help"

Thank goodness Auntie Candace was in town this weekend to help with baby stuff and wedding stuff - we didnt have ANY time to have any fun ;)
Well, we DID go up to the lake to hang out on the boat with Sarah and Tyler, Kerrys brother, and a few others….

Well, we DID go to salem, MA to check out the witch museum and learn about the witch trials in 1692. We did about three hours of walking the town on heritage trail, ate lunch, had some iced tea, and walked the harbor.

We DID go see The Help, a book we have both read and loved and give equally great reviews to the movie, as well as the movie popcorn.

We DID go to the pyschic who said I would be having a girl, Candace will be present for the delivery, we both will have long lives, and Candaces car is getting stolen! Amongst other things....her house was as skanky dirty as ever, but her predictions usually have a vain of truth, so Ill have to check in with Candace in a few weeks to see whats happened.

We DID get mani-pedis.

We DID go to Hooked to get fish tacos.

We DID have dinner at the Puritan with a great group where Candace enjoyed her beloved Veggie Lasagna and she got to see Lola who she has not seen since she was 6 months old.

So theres that….

Coworker baby shower

Erin, one of the PAs I work with, hosted a brunch baby shower for me at her house including mini quiches, french toast casserole, baby boy Rylan, and lots of fun games. Thanks to everyone who showed up; what a great afternoon! I had a nice little helper Emma opening gifts with me. Maeve is a spoiled little girl who will be VERY well dressed. I cant wait to bring her into work with me to visit all her friends. Here are some pictures:

MN baby shower weekend!

Kerry and I got to go home mid August for a long weekend in MN. We started out the weekend with Tom and Loras wedding Friday night; luckily our flight got in just in time to catch part of the reception. Lots of old friends to catch up with there.

Heres a pic of the bride and me:

Saturday family went to the Chanhassan for a long overdue family Christmas present to see Hairspray. MUCH better than the previous "ballet" my mom, Derek, Kerry and I attended in manchester in June!
