Winter is a time to hibernate

Here are some pics from our night out for New Years Eve. We got together with 15 of our closest friends at the Puritan in Manchester - this is now becoming our new tradition as this is the third year in a row we have done this. Lolita was here this year again too. Frankies first New Years Eve in the USA was celebrated states style mostly, but there is an Ecuadoran tradition where people write down their New Years resolutions and burn the muneca in a bonfire. This is a pictorial of our version of burning of the muneca. You are supposed to make a doll and use that as the vehicle, but we were not prepared so used the next best thing: a demolished Christmas gingerbread toy the dogs half ate already.
Laura and I were able to get out early in January for some runs on Pats peak.
Here are some more pics of Candace and my time in MN. I finally got to visit her and Mikes home in Pine City.

More pics of the Bridesmaids painting pottery.
My mom started making the welcome bags: Here is a pic of what she has created thus far. Not even close to done - you will have to wait and see!!!
Here is a pic of my mom working on my wedding dress.
